Men's League 2025

Format: This is a 9-hole league, lasting 15 regular season weeks, followed by a 4-week bracket tournament. Teams are made up of 4 players with individual handicaps. Your team will be paired against another competing team each week, and each of your 4 players will compete in match play and split into 2 foursomes, one on the front 9 and one on the back 9. Each match, you will be able to earn a maximum of 20 points, 80 points possible for your team. 2 points for winning a hole, 1 point each for a tie, and 0 points if you lose a hole. The low net score for that 9 will earn an additional 2 points.

If you have a player missing that week and did not get a sub, you forfeit all 20 points to the opposing player

Rules:

We are out here to have fun and play in a reasonable amount of time. If a tee shot is obviously hit out of bounds, take a one stroke penalty and re-tee. If you think it is in play and drive up to look for it but cannot find it, take one penalty stroke and take back-on-the-line relief. Meaning from the point the ball entered out of bounds, you can go as far back as you’d like on the line between that spot and the hole, you cannot move closer to the hole than the spot it entered out of bounds.

You are allowed to improve your lie by playing the ball up, but you cannot move your ball to a different area of the course or different cut of grass.

Gimmies must not be given for putts longer than a clublength, and can only be given by your competitor This keeps league handicaps accurate and fair, your handicap will be too low and you are only hurting yourself by picking up putts you were likely to miss.

Max score on a hole is net double par.

Beyond that, we will be playing by the current USGA Rules of Golf.

Handicaps: For the first 3 weeks, your league handicap will not adjust. After 3 weeks, your handicap will adjust as the average of your league scores times .8.

Schedule: League begins Wednesday, April 23rd at 6:00pm. Regular season will last 15 weeks with bye weeks to be announced based on Harvest early July. After regular season will be 4 weeks of tournament play.

Pairings: Teams are made of an A,B,C, and D player. Each week, the player you are matched against will be determined by the following order:
